On the occasion of the Paris Photo fair, DURAZZO presents an exceptional exhibition of photographs by Vincent Perez, internationally renowned film actor and photographic artist. Entitled Shadows and Light, the exhibition reveals a selection of images from the artist’s eponymous book, the result of several years of work and exploration centered around a mythical location: the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris.
By shining a light on this iconic site of Parisian artistic bohemia, Vincent Perez offers a visual journey where intimate portraits, creative figures, and the timeless power of art intersect. His book Shadows and Light / Ombres et Lumières, published in 2024, illustrates this approach.
