THE ROOMS 2026

Bruxelles, June 2026 — DURAZZO is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming edition of THE ROOMS art fair, which will take place in Brussels this coming June. For this event, the gallery presents a dialogue between historical figures of the 20th century and the most contemporary.

In his room, DURAZZO brought together an exceptional group of artists who redefined the boundaries of modernity: Sonia Delaunay, Hilla Rebay, Leonor Fini and Stanislao Lepri. Although their aesthetic approaches differ, these artists share a common quest for freedom and innovation.

Leonor Fini's world of surreal femininity and Stanislao Lepri's melancolic vision of surrealism face Sonia Delaunay's simultaneism and Hilla Rebay's non-objective painting.

In response to this historical legacy, the gallery presents the works of the Franco-Russian designer Alissa Volchkova. Her vases explore the boundaries of industrial and artisanal processes. Through their interplay of tension, fluidity and the crystallisation of movement, Volchkova’s pieces echo, in particular, Delaunay’s research into colour.
