New York, September 2026 — DURAZZO is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming edition of The Armory Show, which will be held at the Javits Center. On this occasion, the gallery is dedicating its solo exhibition to the pioneering work of Hilla Rebay, offering a unique immersion into the visionary world of this major artist at the heart of the New York art scene.
Born in Strasbourg in 1890, Hilla Rebay was deeply interested in Theosophy and spiritual ideas. Though trained as a portrait and figurative painter, she later focused on non-objective art, aligning with the European avant-garde movements like Dada in Zurich and Galerie Der Sturm in Berlin.
